A big THANKS to Dr. Ahmed and her talented team for the progress I have made in my TMJ protocol.

I sought out Dr. Ahmed due to severe TMJ-related (jaw, neck, back) muscle pain. I have had an uneven bite for many years. I was pleased to find out that not only would my muscle pain be addressed, but that my bite would be adjusted to its natural position as well.

At my first office visit, my pain level was extremely high. And my jaw muscles were so tight that they could not be manipulated by the doctor. Through office treatments, bite adjustments, and homework assignments, my muscles began to relax more and more over time.

My bite usually felt amazing when I left the office after a treatment. And my bite during my first meal after a treatment was sometimes the best food chewing I’ve had in years.

In between visits, my jaw muscles would still get confused, moving out of my new bite position. Getting my muscles to relax into my new natural bite took some extra time. Dr. Ahmed’s patience with me has paid off.

During my last office visit, I was able to open my mouth wider than ever before, a sign that my muscles are relaxed and malleable. And my muscle pain has reduced to a much more manageable level.

Now, if my jaw muscles tighten up, I am equipped to bring the muscles back into their natural, relaxed state through the homework assignments.

This is one of the few medical offices in central jersey that offers TMJ treatment. I had injured the joint in my jaw and was experiencing daily pain and muscle tightness for months. Through treatment and therapy at Clarity Dental, I'm finally pain free, and was given an effective home care kit to help with TMJ issues should they arise again. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and put a lot of effort into working with you to make sure you're getting the best care and financial coverage. The drinks and snacks in the waiting room are a fun bonus too! Definitely would recommend to anyone experiencing TMJ issues

Dr. Ahmed is hands down the best dentist I've been to. She is so sweet, friendly, understanding and knowledgeable. She takes the time to address all of my questions in detail so I have an understanding of what is going on and why/how I am being treated the way I am. I have suffered with severe migraines from grinding & TMJ for years and she is an expert in this area and she and her team (the amazing Sandy) have really improved my quality of life already! Her receptionists / billing ladies Michelle and Marta are amazing as well and I have never met such attentive billing staff. I truly appreciate everyone at this practice!!!

Dr. Ahmed and the Clarity Dental team are absolutely incredible! Every single person who works here is beyond kind and super friendly. I originally came to Clarity Dental hoping to find relief for my TMJ issues. For years, I have dealt with my my jaw locking up, cluster headaches, and pain. It had gotten really bad and I was so frustrated after spending so much money on different doctors and specialists. I felt like nobody was able to help me until I found Dr. Ahmed. She is very empathetic and you can tell that she truly cares about her patients, plus her treatment helped me immensely! I wasn’t ready to say goodbye after my TMJ treatment was over so I decided to go to her as my regular dentist! I am so thankful that I found Dr. Ahmed and Clarity Dental, I used to hate going to the dentist and now I look forward to my appointments :)

When I first came to clarity dental for their TMJ therapy, I honestly wasn’t really quite sure what to expect. I had spent years trying to get a diagnosis / proper treatment for my chronic facial pain but was misdiagnosed a bunch of times, given useless medications, and even had teeth unnecessarily pulled. By the time I made my first consultation appointment I was extremely defeated and hopeless that I would find something to help my excruciating pain. But I’m very happy to say I was wrong.

From the moment I walked in the office I felt right at home and welcomed. All of the staff were super friendly and before I even met with Dr. Ahmed, I could just tell that the people at clarity dental actually cared. When I met with the Doctor, she patiently listened while I described my symptoms and history. It was very overwhelming talking about everything I had experienced especially with all of the dead ends I had hit, but there wasn’t a moment that I felt like I was being pressured or running out of time, which had happen to me with other doctors. She then explained to me what the therapy entails and was very honest that she wasn’t even sure this could help, but I decided it was worth a shot because I was tired of having no relief.

That might of been one of the best decisions I ever made, because while I’m not entirely pain free, I’ve felt relief for the first time in years. TMJ is an absolutely brutal condition that if untreated, like myself, can cause serious pain that even mirrors other chronic pain conditions. If you’re as desperate as I was, do yourself a favor and give it a go, because it might seriously help you and finally bring you relief to your discomfort. Everyone at this practice is absolutely incredible and I am forever thankful for all of them. Thank you for helping me get back on my feet.

Dr. Ahmed recently fit me for a night guard to help with a teeth grinding issue at night. I was a skeptic because I had prior experience with night guards that weren’t comfortable. The result has been fantastic! It is comfortable, I have noticed significant change in my sleep, and wake up feeling so much better. Really great experience so far with Dr. Ahmed and her team and am very thankful for their help!

I just have to give a review which I never do!! I had an amazing experience with this beautiful dental office. From walking in and greeted by beautiful smiles and a warm Hello ,from Michelle and Marta! I was seen right away with my hygienist Kim who took full set of X-rays, and got to know me and my concerns with me and my teeth. What a great cleaning! Sandy also came in to introduce herself as Doctor Ahmeds assistant, which was very kind. The best part meeting Dr. Ahmed ,she was very friendly and she felt to me like a friend not just a doctor! She went over all my teeth with me and what she was looking to help me with my concerns with my smile and my TMJ. Went over my plan with Marta and I’m Very excited to start my dental plan. Such a happy office!!

Dental clarity is the best office for all patients. Dr. Ahmed is amazing and has helped me have a comfortable experience at her office. She was very thorough with her exam and treatment during my visit to her office. The staff are all nice and very professional.
